Alumina (Al₂O₃)
Al₂O₃ is primarily characterized by its exceptional hardness.
In addition, it offers excellent wear resistance and high thermal conductivity combined with outstanding chemical stability.
It is also our standard material for both additive manufacturing and green machining.
Typical applications include crucibles for analytical processes or holders used in induction welding. Sensor housings and insulators for ignition systems are also feasible, as well as any other custom application.
Hilgenberg Ceramics is your expert partner for CNC machining and 3D printing of Alumina parts – achieving up to ±10 µm precision through our grinding process.
